My honeywell thermostat says hI, what does this mean

My honeywell thermostat says hI, what does this mean

joeydelia : It means the tempature is high over 99 degrees, if thats not the case in your home, then the thermostat may need calibrations or the thermosister is giving the thermostat display a bad reading.

I see, well the temp isn't over 99 degrees. It is only 20 C in our house right now

Could the thermostat be toast

joeydelia : Yes it is, there is no calibration that is going to make that difference up. Seems like the thermosister is "open" making the display show high tempature

Ok, thanks for the information

joeydelia : Please rate my service.......thanks have a great evening :)
