Pilot light in both hot water heaters will not remain lit, once the pilot is released. Both heaters are Bradford whites - only 2 years old. Both stopped working within two days of each other. Why?
Hello and thank you for using this service,The two units may have come from the same batch when manufactured. You should check the thermocouple to see if it is defective as that would be the main cause of this issue. Here is a video to walk you through testing the thermocouple. Now if the thermocouple tests good and the pilot will not hold then the valve is defective. This could just be if they were made from a bad batch at the same time, that would be about the only explanantion. All I ask of you is to please rate me with one of the top 3 ratings.
