I have ac inside unite trane keeps running non stop i discconnected thermostat but still runs without stoping ,you can hear clicking sound wherr control board is located modeltwgo48a140b1

I have trane inside ac unit keeps running non stop i disconnected thermostat but still runns , without stoping , you can hear clicking sound where control board is located. Sound to me like its thrying to move in the next cycle model twgo48a140b1

Is thew blower running on the furnace or just the outside unit

Customer :

blower is running inside

Customer :

its actualy inside unit only

HVAC Guru :

Ok is the outside unit running?

HVAC Guru :

So the AC unit is all inside?

there is only one unite inside unit

Customer :

yes thats correct

HVAC Guru :

Where is the condenser unit? I am unfamiliar with anything like that

its right in front of you once you take of the cover .

Customer :

you can see the coil

HVAC Guru :

Yes the evaporator coil...that is the one that cools....the condenser and compressor are outside

HVAC Guru :

I have never seen one inside

HVAC Guru :

That would be extremely loud

than i didnt look the one outside

HVAC Guru :

Ok go look outside and see if the outside fan and compressor are running or off.

Customer :

They are off

HVAC Guru :

Ok so just the blower is running inside correct?

yes

HVAC Guru :

Alright can you go by the thermostat or can you see the thermostat wires on the unit inside?

Customer :

yes i can see tham

HVAC Guru :

Ok disconnect the green wire and see if the blower turns off...it should be on the G terminal

Customer :

i actualy did discconected all off tham earlier and the blower still run s

HVAC Guru :

Ok if you disconnect all of them and the blower still runs the blower relay is stuck closed as the contacts have either fused together or there is an issue with the relay board

HVAC Guru :

Did you get that model off the Trane unit inside

Customer :

yes model twgo48a140b1

HVAC Guru :

Ok one sec

You will need this part...they had problems with the old one and this is an upgrade
