Resolved Question:

Concord model 2HP13B30P-1B heat pump. Two lights (one red, one green) flashing on circuit board on outdoor unit. Air handler fan will run, but outdoor unit will not come on. No low voltage to contactor. Help???

Are the lights flashing alternately or simultaneously?

Customer :

I'm not at the unit now, but I think simultaneously. Will have to verify, though. About five minutes away from house.

M Oglesby :

Remove the panel from the outdoor unit and look on the back of it to find out what led code the unit is giving.

M Oglesby :

You will have to find out the exact pattern of the flashing light first though.

Customer :

Lights flashing simultaneously. There is a wiring diagram but no code - that is my problem.

M Oglesby :

Are they flashing fast or slow?

Customer :

Relavtively slow. About once every second two seconds.

M Oglesby :

i looked up the code and it is normal operation power to board.

M Oglesby :

Check to see if any of the wires at the airhandler have come loose.

M Oglesby :

Try to jump the wires at the airhandler.

Customer :
