Customer Question

Hi,

I have a goodman dependable ninety-two furnace. The unit will not ignite and produce heat. I have followed the instructions on the unit for reset......turn on/off switch off, turn off power to the unit, wait five minutes and restart. After restarting the blower comes on, it sounds like gas is coming into the system....a "hissing noise", then a click and nothing. It does this three times and then shuts off. I have gone through this process twice. I haven't smelled gas either time. Any suggestions?

M Oglesby :

During the process, do you ever see a igniter glow red?

Customer :

Where would I look to find that?

M Oglesby :

Inside the furnace cabinet. Near the burners.

Customer :

Can't see anything. Wife called a service tech. Thanks anyway.

M Oglesby :

Please hit ACCEPT so I can be paid for my time. Thanks!

Customer :

Sorry, I do not accept at $38 for the minimal amount of time spent on this. If there is a way to do it I will pay a lesser amount for your time though.

M Oglesby :

I only get half of that, but you have a good day.
