The ignition/ flame sensor parts are not working right.
You can inspect the pilot light area to see if there is a spark ignition or not when you hear the noise
if the pilot lights, but then goes off... the flame sensor rod next to the pilot light is dirty, clean it off with sand paper.
Let me know what you find on your end, we go from there until we get it figured out.

Thanks for your help, Your answer was not what the problems is. I had to have a repair man fix problem.
Hello again, just so you know however, cleaning the flame sensor was not an answer.. it was just step one in the trouble shooting process.

Well, the stove is still not working.....doing the same thing.
Lets make sure its not under recall from the manufacturer
it checks so far at least as a space heater .. not a stove. Is space heater correct?
