My Mini Split and Amcoraire Model AWS 181HX is displaying error code F1 when I looked it up it said dirty Air Filter, I cleaned the filter and restatred but it keeps comming up with F1
Optional Information: Make : Amcoraire Model : AWS 181HX Already Tried: Removed and Cleaned the filter, turned it off for 12 hours. Tried restarting but it runs for a min or two then goes back to F1
Hello my name is XXXXX XX will be my pleasure to assist you. Unfortunately you are not the only one who has had this problem and the only solution to fix the error was to replace the indoor circuit board. This is a known problem with these units that may be why the company went out of business.
can't th e board be re-set?
Not that I am aware of evryone who has had this proble had to order a new circuit board and install it to get rid of the error code and get the unit back up and running.
where would I be able to get a re[placement board?

You could check the communication wire from the outside unit to the inside unit. That is what I found the error code to represent. Make sure the connections are tight.
