Hi, I'm Douglas and I am here to help you resolve problems with your heating and cooling equipment.

You can see where the ignitor is (you saw it glow). Look at the other end of the burners in front of what should be the last burner to light. (turn the power to the furnace off first). You should see a flame sensor. It's a single rod connected to a ceramic mount and a single wire.

Find a piece of steel wool or if you dont have any, reach in your pocket and grab a dollar bill. (crispy work best). Clean that rod as if you were trying to sand it clean. Note, I didnt say use sand paper. Once you get it clean, rrepower the furnace and try starting the furnace again. Let me know how that goes.
