Is there a service/troubleshooting manual available for this old unit?

Expert:  Richard replied 6 years ago.

I looked all over and that was all the information i could find.

However if your having a problem with keeping the pilot on here are a few things to try.

First, make sure your cap in on ( look on the roof) secondly this unit probably have a single burner gun. Turn power and gas off and take the gun assembly out. You will see the pilot assembly, they get plugged up and don't put a good flame on the thermocouple. When you take the assembly out there is a small orifice in the assembly you might have to tap on it to get it to come out. Use a very small piece if wire or needle to clean it. ( don't make it bigger. Replace thermocouple if you have not done that.

Let me know if i can be of further help

Thank you

Thanks for looking for the manual. I've maintained Modine natural/LP unit heaters in the greenhouse industry for past 25+ years so I'm familiar with pilots, thermocouples, etc. and I'm getting a great pilot flame which is impending on the thermocouple as it should. I'm hoping that there isn't a crack somewhere in the firebox that I haven't yet been able to find.

Thanks, again.
