I have a 20 year old Model 659 bathroom vent/heater. I am currently having a problem with the heat control on the model 626 control. Are replacement parts for this model still available/

you can find it at plumbers supply.com

thay have the installtion intructions there and it shows a parts diagram

just click on the tab that says documents , and than installation....

The picture shown has more of a crown to it vs. mine which has a flat metal screen with a light in the middle. I will check with plumbers supply.com and see it there is greater detail in what they show in the diagram.

While I concur with an upgrade to a newer model, are there any models which you would recommend as reliable, efficient and fitting into the current ceiling opening with a minimum of renovation to the existing opening?

there will be no closer fit tothe the original than this one,

i have not changed one as old as yours, but on some that were 10 years old

i was able to use the original housing in the ceiling and install all of the parts inside from a newer unitLaughing
