I have a white and rodgers thermostat. Not cooling and I noticed

Customer Question

I have a white and rodgers thermostat. Not cooling and I noticed a snowflake symbol flashing. I've had this problem before, but today I can't find my manual. I did something to reset it in the past. Can you help me?

The only fix is to turn off the thermostat and reset poer to the furnace, turn stat back to cool and set. The snowflake is a delay to protect the compressor from short cycling so it locksout for 5 min. After reset, time the function...if it has not started after 5 minutes, the delay timer is bad and you will need a new thermostat
