Do you see a reference to the blinking light on the panels?

Or possibly on the inside of the panel?

Are you trying to run your heater?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
No. The air is working, but the light flashes

Systems with control boards either flash or stay lit during normal operation.

Has this system given you any problems?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Yes the compressor will somwtimws not come on with the fan in the on position. I have to turn it off for a couple of minutes and then back on for the compressor to come on

I have seen this before. Most of the time the capacitor ends up being replaced.

Here is a photo of a capacitor for your reference.

I use a meter that specifically has a designation for testing capacitors.

Capacitors are relatively cheap.

If the run capacitor is good, but your compressor still has trouble, you can try installing a hard start kit.

A hard start kit is a starting capacitor with a potential relay.

If the capacitor was bad it should not work at all. The indicator light stays red if nothing is wrong. I just want to know the code when the light flashes once. There is nothing on the unit and as I bought the trailer second hand I don't have the papers. Thew unit is only about a year old. I found you on the Carrier web site and thought you might know.

I don't know what the flashes mean I am sorry.

If your compressor is having trouble starting it is likely going out.

You can put a hard start on to help that.

It will not be a permanent solution but will give you a chance to save for a new one.

You can verify this by measure the amp draw the compressor pulls and compare it to the RLA rating on the compressor.

If your capacitor is putting out a lower MFD you would also have this symptom.
