my roadtrek rv has a fedders model A2R08F2C room air conditioner

Customer Question

my roadtrek rv has a fedders model A2R08F2C room air conditioner installed. It has stopped working and i need to replace it however the literature i recieved with the unit does not include tehcnical specs. I need the dimensions and electrical specs in order to find a compatible unit. Can you provide tech specs for this model? Do you know if you have a suitable replacement? I have heard that maytag has compatible models, do you happen to know if one would be appropriate?

Hello, I appreciate your effort.
I got a reply back from an email to my RV mfgr and they say that my AC unit is not original equipment - that in fact the "R" in the model number indicates it was a fedders mfgr refurb that replaced the original at some time in the past.
This would also explain why I don't have the expected "Q" in my model number :)
They suggested I look for any window air conditioning unit which is 12 inches high by 20 inches wide and have the installer add a super boost (supco spp6) inside the unit before installing it.
Can you suggest such a unit? I haven't been able to find anything under 12 and 1/2 inches high :(
