Good Morning and welcome! I am Dr. Loretta, a licensed veterinarian and I am happy to answer your question.

Ligament injuries are very slow to heal and only anti inflammatory medications and moderate exercise will help to heal this injury. There is no surgery that can help in most cases of a traumatic injury. These can take 6-9 months to resolve but if the treatment is slow and consistent, these will resolve in time.

Does that make sense to you?

Please let me know if you have ANY other questions. My goal is to give you 100% satisfaction and if you are not yet satisfied, please REPLY so I can clarify for you.

Sincerely, ***** *****
