my horse has just undergone arthroscopy to lavage and treat a ruptured calcanean bursa (had hock kicked in field last night)...this was successful, but I have been advised the retinaculum was also damaged and so they were concerned during recovery of tendon slippage. I'm assumming recovery ok as heard nothing else, but am concerned about prognosis as hope to event/hunt horse in future. Can you help?
What have you tried so far?: surgery (arthroscopy to lavage) and systemic antibiotics
