Sir, I have a pregnant mare this is three months along. My vet has been out three times this month for several things. My mare was just tested for a uti. However, tonight she took her back leg resting it then seeed to have trouble peeing . She then peed a small amount.. what could it be? Thank you, Pamela

I would not worry about this right yet., In early pregnancy, the uterus starts weighting on bladder and sometimes mares go through a period where they feel they need to urinate despite their bladder being almot empty. It usually gets better within a couple of weeks.This said, you still need to monitor to ensure it is just that, and nothing more serious.Would worry if it persist past 2 weeks, or if the signs worsen significantly
