My horse came down with laminitis two weeks ago, had a cushings test which tested positive!! A week tomorrow she was put on pergoloid, sedalin and bute but is still very lame. My farrier refused to trim her feet two weeks ago and now says that we have to let the drugs kick in. I am confused as she is normally fine a couple of days after her feet are trimmed. The farrier told me to call the vets to maybe up the medications. Please advise me, I am at wits end.
