Dr. Loretta :

Good Morning and welcome to Just answer. I am Dr. Loretta, a licensed veterinarian and I am happy to answer your question.

Dr. Loretta :

Take Buddy's temperature with a human rectal thermometer...normal is 101 and anything over 104 will require treatment. They can feel warmer to us because their normal temperature is higher than ours. Is Buddy acting ill?

i dont know if it's my imagination . he just seems a little under the weather. he is eating good though. how long do i leave thermometer in?

Dr. Loretta :

Leave it in for 1 minute.....let me know what it says...

ok. thanks
