My daughter is driving and the heat quit coming out the driver side and is now only coming out the passenger. Temp outside is 15 degrees
JA: Have you checked the coolant level? Has there been any leaking from the hoses?

Is this automatic climate control? or is it manual? if your not sure, ask her if there are temperature numbers on the hot/cold settings, or just RED and BLUE colors on the temp. knob settings. thank you.

Alright, Can you ask her to make sure the coolant level is full in the coolant over flow jug? It could be just low on coolant causing this problem, also ask her if there was any gurgling sound or burping sound accompanied with this heat loss? Sometimes air in the system can cause this and you can hear it in the heater core.
