Hello welcome to Just answer I am master tech and will be able to assist you .

have you checked the fuses yet ?

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
I am in the process of checking the fuses now. Let me get back to you.

ok did this just start all of a sudden or was any work done prior to this ?

ok their is a passengers side fuse box that will have 2 fuses for the navi. one is a 10 amp fuse and the other is a 15 amp fuse.

also their is a fuse in the drivers side fuse box under the dash also.

which is a 7.5 amp fuse. please check these and let me know so we can continue

No work was done on the car. Radio and navigation simply wouldn't work this morning. I think a charger I may have been using in the outlet blew a fuse. I think one of the fuses (15A) is blown.

so did you find a blown fuse?

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
I am going to replace it. I will let you know if replacing the 15A fuse does the trick.

good morning. how did this turn out ?

Customer: replied 8 days ago.
no. The radio and nav center are back on line. However, the overhead light in front no longer works. More of a nuisance than a critical issue, but if I can fix it why not? Would this be another lightly blown fuse?

ok sounds like more fuses are blown. so what ever you used in the accessory port is shorting things out and should not be used

Customer: replied 8 days ago.
it's an inverter that I have since gotten rid of (I think there was spill that caused the short as it had worked well in the past). I guess I just have to go through and check the panels and track down the fuse for the overhead lights in front part of the car. At least, the radio and nav are functioning again after I tracked down the codes for resetting them.

let me look up some info to track the fuses down.

I'm at work right now and slammed but I will check later for you.

did you have the radio and navi codes ?

Customer: replied 8 days ago.
thankfully, I have all of the radio and nav codes and they worked perfectly.

Thanks for the follow up. I would just like to get these nagging problems covered.

please check passengers fuse box it's 10 amp fuse
