2000 Accord Sedan V6, I take very good care of my Accord,

Customer Question

Hi Pearl,
JA: What is the model/year of your Honda?
Customer: 2000 Accord Sedan V6
JA: Are you fixing your Accord yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I take very good care of my Accord, but don't fix it myself. Several red lights are blinking occasionally on the dashboard for the past week or so. My battery is a year old; I'm concerned it might be an alternator issue. Or hopefully just an electrical "glitch."
JA: Have you checked the fuses? The dashboard bulbs?
Customer: No...I don't like to "play" with anything under the hood, except for the occasional little bit of oil I have to put in. Should I take it to the dealer or a place in the area that specializes in car electrical problems?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No, that's everything...thank you.

have you stalled out at all and had to get a jump?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
It's 9:45 at night here and I don't want to go out and fix my car. I just want to make sure I don't have a significant issue/repair. Because of a recent back surgery, I only work part-time and money is very tight.

No...the car's running fine, just as normal.

without being there and being able to read the battery voltage or alternator voltage and you not being able to be my hands, i am not going to guess whats wrong with your car.
