I just removed the intermediate shaft on the front passenger

Customer Question

I just removed the intermediate shaft on the front passenger axle of my 2004 honda crv, to put in a new bearing. Fluid drained out of the transmission(I'm assuming) when I removed the shaft from the transmission. I was going to drain the rest of the fluid and replace it with a non-honda option, as there is no honda dealer within 100 miles.(unless some local shop stocks honda tranny fluid)
JA: When was your transmission fluid last checked?
Customer: Just bought the vehicle used, 250 km on it, don't really know.
JA: Are you fixing your CR-V yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I'm doing the repair myself. Just getting started with sourcing tranny fluid. I'll check Napa, Maslack, and Canadian Tire.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: That's about it.
