Has the system been scanned and the fault code and or codes retrieved that should be setting and if so what are they?
So you are not able to clear these codes?
In most cases if the code will not clear this usually means the OPDS unit has failed and needs to be replaced. Has that been done?

Yes the passenger seat has to come out and back cover has to come off.
