My name is ***** ***** I would be happy to help. Does the wiper motor turn on at any speed?
Okay, I have dealt with this before. Let me go over the wiring diagrams and report back shortly.
Is this a V6 or 4 cylinder?
do you have a test light or multimeter?
and is the wiper motor connector accessible right now?
turn the ignition switch on and check the GREEN wire at the connector and let me know if there is battery voltage. Also check the WHITE/BLACK wire as well?
Nope, the wiper motor connector
okay, now hook up the wiper motor connector and back probe the BLUE wire. On each wiper speed position tell me if there is power. Then also do this for the GREEN wire. Number each speed and voltage reading. Like this:
now check YELLOW
Reminder, I have not been paid at this point and won't be until I receive a positive rating from you. At that point I will receive a portion of what you've already paid Just Answer.
From these readings I say the motor is bad? Is it a factory replacement? I can provide you a test for the motor. Would you like that?
You can go ahead and rate me positively. Don't worry, there aren't additional charges for posting to this thread after you rate so we can keep chatting. Thanks!
where are you putting power and ground at the motor?
Where are you putting power?
I have to step away for a bit. I will report back soon
sorry about yesterday. It got a little hectic. I will be around till about 8:30 this morning, and then be back around 11 a.m.
I need to know where you are putting power to make the motor work. This will help me determine what might be going on.
The wiper motor voltage goes to ground through the Blue wire terminal. Battery voltage comes from the green wire then through the Blue and Yellow wires to ground to make the motor work. You should be able to power the green wire and then supply a ground for the Yellow and Blue wires to make the motor work. If it doesn't this means the motor is bad.
