2010 CR-V EXL radio locked on one station. CD player/changer

Customer Question

2010 CR-V EXL radio locked on one station. CD player/changer and card will not work. System does not ask for code but clearly needs to be reset. How do I do that?
JA: Have you checked the battery's voltage?
Customer: Battery seems ok. lights are bright.
JA: What year is your Station?
Customer: Public radio. current station.
JA: Are you fixing your Station yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Radio will not tune. Locked on one station which comes in fine. If battery voltage is low would not having the car running provide correct power?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No I already pulled my hair out so now I am bald.

Disconnect both battery cables (positive and negative) and clamp or use a jumper wire to hold them together, turn key to on position and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then turn ignition off and remove key, reconnect battery cables at a time, positive first then negative. This should reset the system.
