p0171
Expert:  Ron replied 2 months ago.

The P0171 is a lean code, did they check the fuel pressure as well as make sure there are no engine vacuum leaks?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
ok
Expert:  Ron replied 2 months ago.

Have them check the Air intake boot from the MAF ( Mass air flow) sensor to the throttle body, there are known issue with it cracking and leaking and that can cause this code to set as well as the shudder issue your having. This is a very common issue as well.
