Disconnect both battery cables (positive and negative) and hold them together for 15 minutes. Then reconnect one at a time, positive first then negative. This should reset the system.

I did remove the positive cable for 15 minutes- would this not reset the computer?
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

The computer can store energy in capacitors, if you ground the positive it will discharge all power.

Still won't start

Do you have a scan tool to check for codes?

No spark could be a crank sensor problem.
