I changed out my timing belt and went to put back the spark

Customer Question

I changed out my timing belt and went to put back the spark plug wires and one won't fit anymore, the top won't snap in. It appears that the spark plug nut is strips and has some sort of gasket on it different than the rest, and the but has ridden up the ceramic part...I'm wondering if I can put the wire in as far as it will go and turn the car on

It's hard to picture what's going on with that spark plug. Could you attach a picture of it here so I can check it out? It sounds like maybe the spark plug is coming apart?
