I have a 1999 honda accord lx. 4cylinder manual transmission

Customer Question

hi, i have a 1999 honda accord lx. 4cylinder manual transmission that wont pass smog. I tested it with an ODB 2 and got a code of P0135. Which I thought by replacing the O2 sensor would fix this. but the check engine light came right back on with the same code. why is this happening?

Any other problems? Fuse #6 feeds the O2 heater but if blown will cause other issues.

Did you use a Honda sensor? Aftermarket ones tend to be poor quality. You can test the sensor heater with an ohmmeter. I can send you the test procedure for P0135 if you want?
