My alarm on my 2006 Honda Pilot seems to go off when it

Customer Question

My alarm on my 2006 Honda Pilot seems to go off when it rains. The only way I can turn it off is by opening the car doors. But after a few minutes the alarm goes off again and I have to repeat the process to turn it off..
JA: Have you tried locking and unlocking the driver's side door using the key itself?
Customer: No. I used the remote
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Other than opening the doors with the remote which worked temporarily, I put the car in the garage and then it appears that the problem went away. Is it the rain or a short in the wiring system triggered by the rain?
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: It happened while I was on vacation. It ended with my battery dying and when I got back I had to get the battery boosted before the car would work.

The number one common problem is a defective hood switch , disconnect the switch and keep it disconnected until you get it replaced .

Are there any other common problems associated with this issue?

OPEN AND CLOSE THE DRIVER DOOR TWICE BEFORE YOU DISCONNECTED TO RESET ALARM THEN Disconnect IT .

NO THERE IS NOT ,THAT IS THE MOST COMMON ISSUE , NOW IF YOU HAVE A HONDA SCANNER OR Equivalent WE CAN CONFIRM WITH SCANNER IF Available
