Customer Question

2008 CIVIC COUPE Si HAD A "CAT NOT RDY" at smog test and the drive cycle section in the owner's manual states in part "Select a nearby lightly traveled major highway where you can maintain a speed of 50 to 60 mph for at least*****on the highway in D (automatic) or 5th (manual)." , but the Si has a 6 speed gearbox and the regular coupe has a 5 speed gearbox!?
So should I use 5th or 6th when driving 55 on the highway?
Thanks

you can use 5th or 6th gear , the idea is to be an closed loop cycle which high way speed will do that , so either one you are okay .

please let me know if that works for you

Thank You
