2008 h0nda pilot 120k miles. yesterday all the dash warning

2008 h0nda pilot 120k miles. yesterday all the dash warning lights came on and it drove like it was in 3rd gear starting out. checked and the battery which was just replaced was not charging. installed a new alternator this morning and battery was charged over nite. car starts all warning lights are on and the drive light flashes and still not charging. what is my next step.

there is no voltage from the alternator to the battery while idling . none yesterday and none from the new alternator installed this morning

i have a battery charger on the battery now. the key is not in the ignition and the car is not running

I'm assuming you have a multimeter correct? I'd like to have specific voltage at the battery while the engine is running.
