Where did you get the serial number?

If you have all the owners booklets you might find the code on the first page of the service history booklet.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Off of the unit under the drivers seat
Expert:  Steve replied 5 months ago.

That would be the right place.

I came up with a 5 digit code but it should be 4

Try 2124 and let me know if it works.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
2124 did not work
Expert:  Steve replied 5 months ago.

Can you try this to get the serial number from the display for me?

1. Enter the navigation diagnostic mode by pressing and holding the Menu, Map/Guide, and Cancel buttons at the

same time.

2. From the Select Diagnosis items screen, select Detailed Information & Settings, then select Unit Check,

then select Navi ECU or ECU Info

Nothing happens!
Expert:  Steve replied 5 months ago.

You need to hold the 3 buttons for 5-10 seconds before it goes into diagnostics

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I did that, nothing happened, it just says enter code.
Expert:  Steve replied 5 months ago.

That should work. I take it you did not have the service history booklet either.

Can you double check the numbers on the navigation unit for me?
