Customer Question

I just got my 2008 Honda Accord back from repair, I had to enter the code, the navigation part works fine, but when I try to turn on the sound system it still says enter code
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact code? And have you tried to reset it?
Customer: How do I reset it?
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I entered in the code 1355, that turned on the nav, but it wouldn't take the radio code of 14561
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: No

How are trying to enter the radio code?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Using the knob to dial it in
Expert:  Steve replied 6 months ago.

Ok when the number is ***** are you pushing in the knob to enter the number?

What happens when you get to the last number, does it display error1 error2 etc.

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
It took the 4 digit code for the nav system, but it wouldn't take the 5 digit radio code, now i can't get to where the code input would be. I did just go out and punch in the 5 digit code for the radio using the number buttens, and now it works

the radio and nav codes need to be entered seperately by different means?
Expert:  Steve replied 6 months ago.

Yes that is correct. They are 2 different codes.

I am not allowing you to accept my help because you got it n your own. Unless you want to accept that is.
