Customer Question

I replaced the a/c clutch coil on my Honda Element 2003. It worked fine for about 10 miles, then it spun and the shaft ripping out the connector. No damage to the wiring. We ended up replacing the whole a/c compressor. Cannot get the condensor fan to run or the clutch to engage. All relays and fuses were tested in the engine compartment. I checked the manual I had and I get 12volts at pin 12 of ECU (Green and White wire top connector P31) This indicates a bad ECU.
Can this be corrected by resetting the ECU?
