Hi,

Is that the serial number off the back of the radio?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Its on a sticker in the glovebox
Expert:  Virtual Wrench replied 1 year ago.

Thanks,

Does it say its the radio serial number?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No sir
Expert:  Virtual Wrench replied 1 year ago.

Didnt think so, lets back up here.

Did you by chance disconnect the battery and now the radio needs a code number to work?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I was clicking around now it says err2

gotcha!

be right back

Have you looked in the owners manual for the radio code number? It wont be printed into the manual but they always put a removable card inside the manual that has the 5 digit code. Did you look all around inside the glove box for that little 3x5 card with the code number....if you are not the original owner they may have taken the card out but sometimes hand write it in the manual cover..

let me know and we can go from there,

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
We don't have the book. The only thing is the white sticker with that 111 # ***** it..
Expert:  Virtual Wrench replied 1 year ago.

Gotcha now.

What you have to do is remove the radio and on the back is a serial number. Just write it down and take it to any dealer and show proof of ownership and they will give you the code number for free.

Then simply enter the correct code and it will work fine.

My goal is that you are pleased with my answer(s). I strive for a positive rating. It's the only way i get credit.

I already knew that and was hoping to get the code from you.. someone in another post asked the same question and recieved the code..
Expert:  Virtual Wrench replied 1 year ago.

I understand but you still need to get the serial number from the back of the radio first

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Ok! If I get the number can I give it to you for the code?
Expert:  Virtual Wrench replied 1 year ago.
