This morning three lights came on the dashboard of my 2009 -

Customer Question

Customer: Hi, this morning three lights came on the dashboard of my 2009 - exclamation point, VBS and engine - would that mean it is brake related?
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: 2009 Honda Accord. Three warning lights on the display - one that is an exclamation point, one that says VBS (or Vehicle Stability) and the engine symbol
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Mechanics for Honda generally expect a deposit of about $32 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Hello, I will try my best to help you with your concern.

First these lights can be related in various ways.

You will need to have the codes scanned so we can have a better idea where to begin.

Most auto parts stores will scan the codes for free. They may only be able to scan the check engine light but that will still give us a start.

It would be wise to give you a guess until I know the codes.

Good morning, I took the vehicle to an auto parts store and the reading came back as "Cam Shaft Sensor". The three lights that are illuminated are the "Check Engine" "(!)" and "VSA" also the Cruise Control will not engage. Thank you!

did they happen to give you the code number? it should be a Pxxx

the cruise will not engage because of the VSA fault

Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 10 months ago.

is this a 4 or 6 cylinder?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
P0341
4 cylinder

how many miles on your Honda?

Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 10 months ago.

sorry I thought I already had that info

Expert:  HONDASERVICE7791 replied 10 months ago.

p0341 is a fault for the cam and crank sensor not being in phase.

the majority of the issues are with the timing chain.

this occurs at higher mileages.
