Hello welcome to just answer I am master tech and will be able to assist you today .

do you have the radio serial #

if not the radio will have to be removed to gain access to the radio serial #

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I have the serial and got the code, but I'd already pressed too many numbers
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 10 months ago.

ok if you disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and then enter the code it should take providing the radio has not been replaced and a new radio code was used

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I don't know how to disconnect the battery, but I read I could pull the fuse from the radio and replace it and that would do the same thing, and seems easier. Can you tell me how to find the radio fuse and pull it out and put it back?
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 10 months ago.

yes in the under hood fuse box their is a radio/back up fuse

pull this fuse out

Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 10 months ago.

make sure the key if off or it will not clear.

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Pull it off and keep it off or pull off and put back and THEN try?
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 10 months ago.

Yes. what happens is pulling the fuse clears the memory in the radio and allows the code to be entered.

if the code does not work after the first or second attempt then you have the wrong radio code.

then the radio has to be removed to gain access to the radio sticker for the serial #

Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 10 months ago.

im sorry yes pull the fuse and then after it resets then replace the fuse and install the cover back ok

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Ok I'll try it. We've got sub zero windchill here so I might wait until it warms up a little. Thanks for your help.
