Hello welcome to just answer I am master tech and will be able to assist you.

can you tell me if the D light is flashing or the check engine light is on ?

also what is the condition of the transmission fluid like ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
check engine light is on. looks new.
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 1 year ago.

ok can you please have this scanned as this will give me a avenue to go on.

most likely you have a bad pressure switch but until we can get it scanned not a lot can be determined

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
we put a ob2 on it , it came up with a code po740 i think something to do the transmission
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 1 year ago.

thank you for the info

this is 100% transmission related.

this is a code for fault in the torque converter lock up system.

typically we see this code and this is a internal failure.

just replacing the torque converter does not normally solve the issue .

Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 1 year ago.

I would hate for you to replace the torque converter and then still have the same issue.

this repair normally requires a reman transmission and new torque converter.

replacing the tcc lock up solenoid will only waste you hard earned money .

what do i need to do
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 1 year ago.

the transmission will need to be replaced or rebuilt
