Customer Question

I have a code P1009 on a 2005 Honda Accord 2.4L K24 engine. I have changed the oil & filter, cleaned the VTC Filter Screen, and replaced the VTEC and I still have the P1009 code. What Should I do next?

Hello and thank you for your question, with everything you have already done then I would check the signal to the VCT solenoid to see if it actual receiving one and I would also check the timing chain alignment . I have enclosed the test steps in the link below, copy and paste the ling to your browser to open and view them.
