I have a 1990 honda civic and I replaced the ignition switch because it wouldn't start intermitantly. After replacing the switch, I got nothing. It won't even turn over.

ok, at the swith, you need to check the white wire with black stripes for power at all times, and if you have it, then check the black wire with white stripes for power in the start position,Tim

I was going to check the power at the two points you told me but I thought before I did that I would try and push start the car. When I done that it started right up and ran! Not sure if this makes any difference with the power at those two points or not but the car will start and run if I push start it. It still will not turn over by the starter. Let me know if you still need those power points.

I am home now and checked for power. The white wire with black stripe had no power but the black wire with white stripe had power (11.9) volts with the switch on
