Honda odyssey: when i rev my engine to just below 2000 rpms

Customer Question

when i rev my engine to just below 2000 rpms it make a rattling noise. It stops just after passing 2000 rpms. It does this even in neutral. If i keep it at 2000 rpms it constantly makes that noise.

hopefully its not the timing chain making noise. Its probably a heatshield for exhaust. what area do you hear it?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It sounds like it comes from under or in the engine. I checked all of the exhaust heat shielding last night and they all look solid. I also checked to see if it was a pulley but it didn't look like that either.

Is it metalic sounding?

Yes.
