Sunroof automatic close/open feature not working on 2006 Honda Civic EX. Sunroof will open and close by manually holding switch. It is not stopping at fully closed position automatically.

Thanks for trusting us with your problem. I have trained in the automotive field and currently work as a shop foreman. I will be helping you today.Try doing the relearn. To reset the moonroof control unit, do these steps:1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.2. Press and hold the tilt switch, and turn the ignition switch ON (II).3. Release the tilt switch, and turn the ignition switch OFF.4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 four times.5. Press and hold the moonroof open switch for 3 additional seconds after the moonroof is fully opened.6. Press and hold the moonroof close switch for 3 additional seconds after the moonroof is fully closed (tilted).7. Confirm that the moonroof control unit is reset by using the moonroof AUTO OPEN and AUTO CLOSE function.Let me know if this works or not. Please do not leave a negative rating.
