Honda Ridgeline AC problem:Blows hot air no matter what temp settingCompressor not coming onCoolant charge OKFuses OKWhen temp knob moved, hear sound like a creaking door hinge

The creaking sound is normal operation of the vent door. Since the compressor is not turning on I suspect a bad compressor clutch coil could be the problem here.
Lets check the A/C compressor clutch relay. The relay is located in the underhood fuse box and is the relay in the middle of 3 relays located together and has a snowflake picture on the cover of the fuse/relay box. Swap the relay with the blower motor relay to verify it is not a faulty relay. If the relay is working then check for power to the A/C compressor clutch. The A/C compressor clutch connector is located on the fan shroud next to the compressor. Verify there is good battery voltage to the Blue/Red wire in the connector. If there is good battery voltage to the connector then suspect a faulty A/C compressor clutch coil. The A/C compressor clutch coil should have 3.9 to 4.3 ohms of resistance at room temperature (68 degrees F). If there is not good battery voltage at the Blue/Red wire, then check for an open wire or a poor connection at the underhood fuse/relay box.
