I have a 2005 Odyssey. The speedometer fluctuates, engine indicator comes on and drive indicator "D" blinks. I have changes the VSS and problem stopped for a month or two and then returned.

When this problem happened the check engine light came on, Did you check for codes?
yes I believe code 17 came up
Any P codes?
not that I can remember. The codes that came up pointed to the Input and output speed sensor so I changed the both
Is the car having the problem right now?

Could you retrieve the codes again? If you don't have a code reader go to any parts store and have them read the codes for you for free and let me know what you find. Code 17 is for the tire pressure monitoring system! I think there are more codes
I may have the code wrong but it had to do with the speed sensors and it was the only code that came up
Well I will need exact codes to be able to help. Could you visit your local parts store and get me the codes? there might be more than one code. Get the codes written down on a piece of paper and let me know what you find.
