Hello let me help you with any of your Honda problems.
ok
It sounds like the amp inside the radio has failed. You can see the display right?
would it fail that quick
yes I can see the display
Did it just go out all of a sudden?
yes
There is also the possibility that one of the speakers has shorted out. You can disconnect them one by one and see if the sound returns.
how do i find out if the amp is out
I am going to check for any other info real quick but it sounds like the amp in the radio. Let me get that info for you.
Here is one thing that I found that you can check.
Mute Speakers? Check the Speaker Wire Terminals Got an ’05 Accord in your shop with mute speakers? Open the trunk, and check the speaker wire terminals. If a large object like a suitcase whacks the speaker wires, it can bend the terminals and cause a short circuit. This short overloads the audio unit output circuit, and the audio unit stops sending out the audio signal to some or all of the speakers. Usually, the sound comes back after you fix the short. But if it doesn’t, then press on with normal troubleshooting.

Ok by the troubleshooting flowchart it will either be a speaker or the radio itself. I would disconnect each speaker like I mentioned earlier and see if the sound comes back....if not I would think that the audio unit/amp has failed and the radio will need to be removed and sent out for repair.
