I have a 2000 Honda Civic Si. The engine lights on and flashes. Its saying theres a misfire on all 4 cylinders. I've changed plugs, wires, distributer cap and roter. What do you think it could be?

Hello let me help you with any of your Honda problems.
Have you narrowed down which cylinder is actually causing the misfire. Have you checked engine and valve timing yet?
No i havent yet. It idles a little rough to. I took it to the Acura service they adjusted the valves.
Ok I would start by pulling the wires one by one and see which cylinder is not affected by pulling the wire. If the cylinder is firing properly the engine will run a little more rough once you pull a wire. If that cylinder is dead you will not notice any change in the way the engine runs.
Ok what if all cyliders are firing and what do i do if one of the cylinders is dead?
Well if all cylinders were firing you would not have a misfire.....did you mean if all were misfiring?
If one of the cylinders is dead the next step is to figure out which component is causing the miss. Did this start before or after the tune up?
I know this sounds crazy but i cant remember, the engine light has been on four about three years.
Oh ok. If you find one cylinder that is actually missing you can swap an injector, plug, plug wire from another cylinder and see if the miss moves with the swapped part. If it does that tell you that part was causing the problem.
If nothing changes by swapping a component the next step would be to check the timing belt and make sure the engine is timed properly and then complete a leak down test to see if you possibly have a bent/burnt valve.
Alright i'll try that out. thanks alot.
