93 honda: I need the torque specs for the rocker arm bolts

  • Lubricate the camshaft journals and lobes.

  • Set the rocker arm assembly in place and loosely install the bolts. Tighten each bolt two turns at a time in the proper sequence to ensure that the rockers do not bind on the valves. Tighten the camshaft holder bolts for 1984-91 to 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm). For 1992-95 engines, tighten to the torque specified:


  • 8mm bolts:


    D16Z6, D15Z1 engines: 14 ft. lbs. (20 Nm)


    D15B7, D15B8 engines: 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm)


    6mm bolts:


    All engines: 9 ft. lbs. (12 Nm)
