Hello welcome to just answer I'm Master Tech and will be able to assist you today.

this is caused by a faulty battery ground cable and needs to be replaced.

pretty common problem on these.

what happens is the battery cable builds up resistance in the cable and does not provide the correct ground for the electrical system

replace this with a new cable from the honda dealer.

Is a Honda battery ground cable easy to replace in terms of labor and material? Can I buy it at a parts store and have my local mechanic install it.. I know you are certified Honda mechanic ..but their labor rates are very high in LA.. Thanks again.
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 5 years ago.

this will take less then 2 minutes to install.

the cable is best bought at honda as its designed to work and not a different type or gauge.

the cable is around 8.00 from the dealer and .3 to install.

here is the factory part # XXXXX the cable.
