Customer Question

I am wanting to replace my tires on 2007 Oddyssey Ex-L. I am considering the Michelin HydroEdge. The normal tire size is 235/65/16, but the Hydroedge only comes in 235/60/16. Would this be a problem with the tire pressure sensors? Any suggestions on which tire will have quiet ride with good overall performance?

Hi,

The tire sensors shouldn't matter but tire's sidewall is shorter. Shorter sidewalls make for a harder ride quality. Personally I would find another tire. The Hydroedge is going to be a little louder then a normal all season tire because of the sipe design. I would stick with a Michelin all season. MXV4 or something similar. Those tires are quiet.

www.tirerack.com has consumer reviews of tires. I usually check that site out before buying tires. Hope that helps.

They have decent reviews online. Seem to be quiet tires. The sipes look pretty conservative which helps with road noise. I think it would be a good tire to try. I am partial to Michelin but they seem good.
